About Us

Here’s to Life Redlands Inc is an award winning not for profit organisation based in Cleveland, Queensland. This unique organisation was conceived and founded in 2003 by Tony and Stephanie Meggitt, the organisation’s ongoing developers and administrators for the past 12 years. In 2014 Tony & Stephanie retired from the Here's to Life management with Sue Harvey stepping in and taking on the management role. We wish Tony & Stephanie the very best of luck and congratulate them in their retirement.

Our core programs are built around the time proven activities of dance, singing and laughter and keep participants coming back again and again. This is the way to achieve the long term benefits so important for robust Health and Wellbeing.

Here’s to Life, as our name suggests is a celebration of life, so naturally all our programs are about taking part, giving it a go without pressure or expectation, while everything we do is designed with infectious fun in mind.

We offer a stress busting, health promoting, confidence building and benefit filled experience with every visit...and much, much more. Guaranteed!

The following quotes echo our commitment to helping people feel better and really enjoy life:

  • “Always look on the bright side of life” Monty Python
  • “Everybody needs a little madness” Zorba
  • “Life is too important to be taken seriously” Oscar Wilde

Everything we offer is aimed at bringing benefit to those who attend our programs. We also believe an important part of overall Health and Wellbeing lies in giving back to the community. In our case some of our women volunteer as helpers at our fun programs for those with disabilities (For those living with physical and/or intellectual disabilities) or at Redlands Special School, our Community Partner since 2006.

If you think you might be interested in joining our volunteers please talk to us. You are sure to find the experience uplifting and very rewarding.

I began my great love of dancing at the age of 5, in Sydney, NSW and continued in Queensland. I have been trained in jazz, tap, ballet acrobatics and hip hop . I have studied the R.A.D; A M S D jazz, tap, acro , C.S.T.D jazz tap and theatrical.

With all of the knowledge gained over my career, I most enjoy passing on all of this knowledge to my students, as I continue to teach, coach and choreograph for many students in addition to the physical training I also believe the mental wellbeing plays an important role in the individual personal development of training dancers and is something I am passionate about in coaching dancers in today’s changing environment.
